To charge your smartphone battery: Tilt Parabola to vertical position. Insert your phone’s charging wire into the slot. Charge your smartphone as the manufacturer recommends. Rest your smartphone on center pad. To use Parabola whilst charging: You may leave smartphone’s display activated all the time while charging. Tilt Parabola to 45 degree angle. This position will directly reflect best quality of sound to user.
Parabola reflects high quality of sound from your smartphone speaker. Please adjust your smartphone to high fidelity level (hi-fi). This will reflect sounds from Parabola as good as stereo hi-fi. For iPhone users, since the speaker is located at the bottom of your iPhone, moving the phone upward from the base will provide better sound. In other brands of smartphone (Samsung, Nokia, SonyEricson, HTC, Blackberry, etc.) usually the speaker is located on the back side (this will generate ideal sound reflective quality).
Please locate your phone so that back speaker is near center as much as possible. Do not block the speaker on the pad. The optimum focusing point of reflected sound is about 1.50 meters away from the Parabola. This spot provides highest optimization of reflecting and receiving sound waves. Smartphone can be placed on rubber pad either in vertical or horizontal position.
Maintenance Clean silicone rubber at the center with damp cloth regularly. Dust or any residues may cause phone to slip from the pad. To clean the body and inside Parabola dish, use soft damp cloth, only. Dust and any residue on Parabola surface may effect reflective sound quality. Avoid direct sunlight and wet area since Parabola is made of natural wood. Wood glue is recommended for self repairing.
